For this project at a Georgian townhouse in Bath, we supplied external limestone paving to help create a calm and cohesive outdoor space that complements the character of the property.

The Wychwood Tumbled & Etched Limestone was selected for its subtle tonal variation and soft texture, sitting comfortably alongside the historic architecture while providing a durable surface suitable for external use. The steps were fabricated from the paving tiles themselves, with the edges carefully cut and mitred against the stone risers to create a clean, refined finish and the appearance of solid stone steps.

The project was completed for former England international rugby player David Flatman, resulting in a practical and understated outdoor space that works naturally with the traditional setting of the townhouse.
